The focus in this Program is on building competencies through effective “proper” Work Based Learning.
Cameos

Cameo A
Salma is an experienced SLT who has been asked to take on Superviison of an SLT assistant colleague. Salma is very keen to undertake this new role and is searching for training about the RCSLT Professional Training & Development Framework for assistants.
‘Supporting the Supporters’ is a short course which will build her confidence as a Competency Coach.

Cameo B
Andrea has been in post as an SLT Assistant for 2 years. Prior to this she worked as an OT Assistant. Andrea has heard about the new RCSLT Framework for Assistants with its emphasis on demonstrating competencies through Work Based Learning and is looking for background and advice about demonstrating how she has achieved competencies and iidentifying her next objectives
After attending a short introductory seminar about the RCSLT Framework Andrea attends ARC Assistants Program for confidence in her Learning Journey
Bespoke training can be provided as a bespoke course for a Team or group of colleagues who would like to train together and share a learning journey.
